Let me reiterate again that the educative section of your website must be filled with high quality contents and updated regularly. But you may leave the review page as it is once you are satisfied with the content.

The type of affiliate web site marketing you adopts will differ for 2 distinct reasons – 1) How deep your pocket is and, 2) The kind of site you decide to have.

Though there is several ways to promote your site but the 3 most popular ones are SEO, PPC and opt in email marketing list. Personally, I strongly encourage you to build an affiliate site to attract free traffic from the search engines.

If you decide to go for the single page product review site, PPC will work better than SEO. Also email opt in marketing and banner ads will work well. But for the educative-content site, both SEO and PPC will work great. However, SEO is more ideal, especially in the long run.

But a website that combine both product review and educative-content concepts, you can perform all forms of affiliate web site marketing available to you. Endeavor to track your results to ensure the winning ads – then throw away the ads that waste your money.

Here is what you should do…

1. Determine what products you want to review. Then write out your reviews after reading lots of information about each product. But it is much better to taste, use or test the product to enable you give undiluted and independent reviews to your readers.

2. Write at least 15 articles based on ‘long tail’ keywords. The keyword must be related to your site theme. For example, let’s assume your website is about JUVENILE. Do keyword research to discover related keyword phrases that people are searching for concerning juvenile.

Go for the keywords with at least 3 words combination. Why keywords with 3 words combination? Good question - this is called long 'tail keywords' and they have less competition online.

Take each keyword and write an article around it. You don’t have to be an expert on the topic to do this. Search the webs for decent articles already written on the topic and  re-write them.
