1st strategy: 

Focus on long term gain

Yes, it's seems I am repeating the same 'long term plan' thing again. It is worth repeating even 1,000s times because a vital secret success secret is to plan today and reap the bountiful fruits tomorrow. So, you should determine to build a real online business that will make YOU filthy rich, rather than looking to making a quick bucks here and there.

Though it is possible to make money ‘fast’ but it’s better to focus on long term – follow a plan to build a concrete foundation that will stand the test of time. Set up a content website/blog

Content site is simply a website filled with well-written and educative articles, courses, ideas and tips that are focused on a niche market. It works great if the site and entire contents are dedicated to same subject rather than combination of subjects. 

For example, a niche site dedicated to weight loss is better than a site mingled with weight loss, family, children, computer and education. And you do not need to be a computer geek to design a content website because it is generally simple to design and maintain.

 

However, if you're hate or afraid of website like a rattle snake, then go blogging! I recommend blogger.com and wordpress.com because they are very simple to set up.

 

How do you make this work? Let’s assume you are promoting, “Fairly Used Computer.” Then set up about 2-5 (or more) contents sites using ‘long tail keywords’. I mean keywords that have at least 3 words combined and with a high monthly search volume. For example, “how to buy fairly used PC”  “buying fairly used computer parts” etc. are good examples of ‘long tail keywords'.

 

Once you have your blog hosted (this will take only 5 minutes on blogger.com), start uploading your articles. Add the affiliate links of the products you are promoting. Make sure you write articles for keywords with minimum search volume of 300 per month. (You can also target lower search volumes like 150 -200.)

Blogging Tip: If you can, I suggest you upload 10 - 20 articles within the first 2-3 days. Then add one article every 1-3 days interval.

You can add one article every 6-7 hours if you can cope. Also, use these free keywords research tools to aid your keyword research: Opoqo (http://www.opoqo.com/KeywordResearch/) and NicheTaxi (http://www.nichetaxi.com/). 

However, do not rely on these free tools alone. Consider spending a little on a paid version such as Keyword Country or the very reliable Wordtracker tool (Or you can use the Wordtracker Free Keyword Tool or Wordtracker Free Trial version).

 

Get quality link exchange and quality one-way links. Exchange links with related sites only. If you exchange links with websites or blogs selling dogs and cats will not do you a lick of good if your site is about fairly used PC. 

Make sure you get at least 50 of such links to your site. Some popular forums do allow members to openly exchange links. You can also join any of the numerous links exchange websites such as LinkMarket.net and Linkmetro.com.

 

Get quality one-way links

One way link is more powerful and relevant to get your site rank higher on the search engines than link exchanges. 

Article directories. One of the best ways to acquire quality one-way links is writing articles and submit to article directories. At the bottom of the article (in the author’s resource box) add your website/blog URL. 

Social bookmarking sites. These days, the social bookmarking sites are the buzz and thousands of people are using them to bookmark their favorite sites. I suggest you select few relevant ones and actively participate in them. Of course, you will bookmark your own sites. (But avoid breaking their rules less you'll get banned.)

Submit press release. Consider writing press release about your site and submit to high profile press release websites. There are both paid and free sites. The most popular paid PR site is PRWeb.com and Imnewswatch.com is good and free. 

Forum posting. Add your site URL on the signature profile on forums.

Web directories. Regular writing and submitting quality articles

The power of quality articles on a high PR article directory is unquantifiable. Apart from getting one-way links, they'll get you unique traffic and possibly sales. I earned my first sales this way! 

You can also build your own opt in list this way. Some readers to your site will definitely enter their names/email into your database. Some will bookmark your site or join the RSS feeds in order to be kept regularly updated.

 

Quality articles will also announce you as a formidable authority on that subject, thereby gradually building goodwill across the internet.

 

Strategies for article submission. Let the main keyword(s) appear once on the title of the article. Then on the first and last paragraphs and about 2-3 times in the entire article body. Use related keywords that people are searching for. 

For example, if you write an article about: ‘avoiding bad fairly used PC.’ If there is a keyword such as ‘avoid bad or average fairly used computer’ then you should also include it in the article body.

Super TIP:

Avoid the so-called keywords stuffing or aiming for keywords percentage for your articles. The search engine, especially Google do not care about that again. Make sure you write for readers to find easy-to-read and interesting.

 

What will happen after 2-3 months?
